Death Note vs Bleach funny wallpaper
Yo minna! I guess i just can’t stop myself with the funny wallpapers. I actually wanted to find a funny Death Note wallpaper, but it so happens that Ichigo found himself nearby. Really now, have you ever thought about the shinigamis in Death Note and the shinigamis in Bleach? Oh, and i guess soon enough i’ll add the shinigamis in 07 Ghost. Yep, shinigamis are everywhere! Teehee!
Well anywayz, take a look at this one! It will make you smile.

(Thanks to aubsneechan.devianart.com for this)
Ok now, look at L! He’s so fascinated with Ichigo, i guess he’d definetly rather have him as a shinigami than Ryuku. And the funny thing is that L sees Ichigo because he holds the Death Note! Light is completely out of the picture. He has no idea what’s going on, while Ichigo keeps thinking that he should have started fighting a hollow by now! Everything’s just too funny not to smile.
And yet… what do you think about Zac Effron playing Yagami Light’s role in Death Note? That’s just stupid! Why in the world would they want to remake the original Death Note movies? I mean, come on… Can you compare this:

with this:

(Tatsuya Fujiwara, the original, the one and only Yagami Light in Death Note)
Really now, how can you compare that Zac Effron dude with Tatsuya Fujiwara? I mean… who the hell is Zac Effron anywayz?? Up until now i’ve never even heard of this guy. Now all of the sudden… Anywayz, it’s a really bad joke and i hope they figure it out before actually doing the stupidest thing they ever thought of doing.
As a final statement, remember the original Death Note movies, starring Tatsuya Fujiwara as Yagami Light and Kenichi Matsuyama as Ryuzaki L. Let me help you out:

Can you beat that, Zac Effron?
Ja ne!

yep! you can’t beat the original… zac playing light?! orly that really must be a joke… XD
That’s exactly what i said when i first heard about it, but apparently… I dunno, i’m thinking that maybe they want to do this only to promote the original Japanese cast Death Note movies even more. I mean people will hate it so much that they will end up adoring the original even more! Teehee!
your right about that… erika toda = <3 haha..
Funny image! I can picture that.
I actually really like Zac Efron, I think he has a lot of potential and is starting to broaden his acting roles. As long as they kept the character itself in tack, Zac fits my visual ideals of Yagami Light much more. Don’t get me wrong, Tatsuya Fujiwara is a great actor and I knew from his acting in Battle Royal that he could portray Light’s character well and he did.
But knowing Hollywood, they’d screw up any anime movie just like they did with Dragon Ball. Either way, I think the anime and the manga will remain my favorite means of Death Note entertainment.
Erika Toda… I have no idea why i hated the Misa Misa character so much. However, last night, when i got home, i went straight to the computer and i watched the movies again and this time… This time i kind of see her differently. Erika Toda actually did a great job playing Misa. Can’t wait to get home today and watch the spinoff also.
I’ve never seen Zac Effron act so it would be unfair for me to say anything about his acting skills. However, after i found out that he would play Light, i read a few things about him, checked some forums to see what others think and so on. But still, everything i read had just strenghtened my initial thought that this is all a bad idea. It’s not about the actor himself, i mean they probably haven’t even started shooting, but i already hate all actors who are going to be in this movie. This Zac guy just had the misfortune of being announced as the actor playing Light, so of course, he is the target of all remarks.
If they had given some more names, all of them would have appeared on the “black list”. And you’re right, it’s exactly because they are going to screw up not only the anime, but also the original movies. I still can’t figure out one thing tho: why would they want a remake of a really good original movie?… It’s quite a mistery to me.
Money of course! They think they can cash in if they bring it to a broader market and Death Note is one of those plots that can interest a lot of non-anime fans. I can’t fault them for that belief, but I’m leery of anime anime that Hollywood gets its hands on. Seriously, turning Goku into a angsty teen like Spider-man? (Sorry I just rewatched Dragonball Evolution and was reminded how bad it was).
I know what you mean. When you’re totally against the idea, you’re prepared to hate anyone be involved. Zac Efron has the “Disney” stigma to it, but I think he’s been rising out of it. He’s the High School Musical jock, but has since starred in Hair Spray and 17 Again. If that makes you balk, he is starring in a more serious movie that looks good and coming out in theaters, The Death and Life of Charlie St. Cloud.
Curious, where did you hear about him being Light? Haven’t seen any confirmation or news about Hollywood doing Death Note yet (just rumors).
Well… it’s still weird because the americans have already played their part in the Death Note movies, the second movie being taken in by Warner Bros. So i guess they already got their share. And there are lots of surveys, blogs, forums where people say the same thing: they are against something like this. Oh! That’s how i found out about this. The first time i saw this mentioned was on Happee’s blog over here http://happee432.wordpress.com/2009/06/07/stupid-zac-effron/. After that, people started talking on the regular forums i visit and i found some other blog posts saying the same thing. Now i sure pray this is just a rumour!
Ooooooh i so agree with you about Dragonball Evolution. I only saw it once and i just couldn’t watch it again.
17 Again is the movie with that dude who turns back to 17 when he reaches 30? I think that’s why Zac Effron’s face looked familiar.
Ohai Yoko-chan. Indeed, shinigamis (heart). Btw, wallpaper ftw. Oh, and also thank you for visiting (heart).
Oh my… I had no idea an American movie version was going to be made…I remember when I first saw a lot of photoshops with Zac Efron/Light comparison I found it so funny because: it’s remarkable the physical alike and the idea of the romantic High School Musical protagonist being Light is irresistibly similiar to the story and so making the analogy, the fact of Zac Efron being Kira fits in such a funny absurd way.
However I’m not keen of Zac Efron at all. I doubt his abilities to perform such a role or any other role that requires a serious and complex commitment but also talent. I just really happen to love humorous photoshops (lol). I’m a bit afraid… I actually have been wanting to watch the film and I must say from what I saw, I think I like L’s actor =) The thing is, if the seiyuus already have a hard time, actors have even more expectations from us.
But to tell the truth, what I’m most curious and afraid of is… who’s going to play L? (gasp)
Yo Iru-chan!
I’ll be sure to check your blog constantly. Great reviews!
I’m glad you like the wallpaper. It sure does make you smile.
Oh well… I still hope and pray that this will remain just a rumour. Maybe they saw all the bad impressions over the matter and they got scared and canceled everything. Teehee! I only saw a couple of photos of this Zac Effron and i think (i’m not sure) i saw that movie where he turns back to 17 when he reaches 30. I can’t remember it anywayz but the story sounds familiar. That just means that i wasn’t impressed at all. Anywayz, the thing is, the original Death Note movies are just too great and beautifully done. There’s no way they could compete with that. You must watch the movies, there are 3 of them and you can also watch them online with English subtitles. The ending is different from the anime, but it’s still great. Actors Tatsuya Fujiwara playing Light and Kenichi Matsuyama playing L had done a wonderful job. I actually never thought they’d be that good.
Oh they’d better not say a word about who’s going to play L. They should just give it up already.
Aw, I’m flattered! (chuckle)
Well, I just think it’s a bit foolish. I mean, there’s already a brilliant (I’m very sure it is) original, why do an american version of it? It’s discriminatory in my point of view (there are subtitles for something). You know, it annoys me a bit, because it seems that America (being U.S) has always to “nationalize” things. Maybe because American movie industry is (I presume it is) the most powerful or atleast the most influent globally, and so, would they have the necessity to adapt things because they somehow don’t want another possible threat as Japanese powerful industry to make them shadow? It’s disrespectful. Art has a beautiful diversity and people should be able to appreciate any kind. Aren’t they just putting barriers?
Oh yeah, he’s a Disney star, I also saw the trailer of that movie too. Yes, I wonder why are we not surprised with it ^^ Oh yeah, I hope so, though I’m curious of who would have played him (L *lol*).
Hum, would you like to advise me about where to see the movies? I don’t know where to find them with a fair quality… I would be very thankful if you could reply me.
I am soooo happy! These are exactly my thoughts also! I mean we all saw what happened to poor Goku in Dragonball Evolution, now they want to ruin Death Note as well?? What’s up with all this? They should simply promote the original Japanese movies better. I mean, the second Death Note movie was taken by Warner Bros, so there! The Americans have done their part, now leave it be! I sure hope they understand that. I agree, they are putting barriers and they are disrespectful.
)
In my case, it’s better they didn’t say who was going to play L because i would have hated that guy just as much as i hate that Zac Effron guy now even if i don’t know anything about him! Teehee!
I first so the movies on http://www.animecrazy.net/ but they deleted them for some reason. However, you can see the first two movies Death Note and Death Note: The Last Name over here http://www.blinkx.com/video/death-note-2-the-last-name-2006/0WJZSNjocUbzNwWAG-qzXA. I’ll search for the spinoff as well and i’ll let you know. The third movie is actually a spinoff and it’s called Death Note – L: Save the World.
I’ll let you know as soon as i get home. (my boss is wandering around right now so i can’t search properlly
(Chuckle) Ah! Thank you so much! I’m so eager to watch them!(wag)
Oh, please don’t get in trouble or I’ll turn into a version of Ritsu Sohma(gasp)
He he! Ritsu was one of the funniest characters of the Sohma family. I remember laughing so hard every time he’d go “Sumimasen! Sumimasen! Sumimasen!”

Oh well, don’t worry about it, my boss is ok, i just need to hide the fact that i’m not working all the time.
I found the spinoff also. You can watch it over here http://www.dramacrazy.net/japanese-movie/death-note-l-changes-the-world/death-note-l-changes-the-world/ .
I’m sure you’ll love them all!
(Chuckle)
Everyone needs a break from time to time =)
Oh, thank youuu ~ (heart)
I sure agree with that, but my boss doesn’t have to know that i finish work pretty quikly.
No problem! Hope you’ll watch them soon enough and tell me what you think.
(lol)
Aw, I hope so, though I’m afraid this week and next weekend will be a bit rushed, so I don’t really know (sigh). Fortunately next week is free of tests atleast so hopefully I’ll be able to see them straight and all of them (*chuckle* You know I prefer to see them straight or else my memory may trick me and I would have to rewatch again)
I’ll be sure to tell you my opinion!
Oh i understand how that goes. I think i’ve seen the first 10 episodes of Jigoku Shoujo 10 times so far because every time i started watching, some other anime came along and i had to put this one on hold. So after finishing with that one and went back to Jigoku Shoujo, i’d take it all the way back from the begining. Still, i will watch it till the end someday. Teehee!
a real Movie based on anime already sounds very bad idea… so i havent seen the movies.. i just dont want to spoil my very good time with the anime… and the original actors look funny so i just cant look the movies…
anyway Zac looks better for the role i just hope that he can pull this one off…
but ill propobly wont gona see that movie either
A real movie based on anime actually sounds pretty awesome. Get in the “Death Note” spirit and just try watching the Japanese movies. Most of Death Note’s fans enjoyed the movies just as much as they enjoyed the anime. As for the actors, Tatsuya Fujiwara and Kenichi Matsuyama are actually pretty damn good actors and they did an awesome job in Death Note. However, before watching it, i suggest you first start looking for reviews and comments on the movie. They’ll start giving you thoughts: “Hey what if i’ll actually like it? Should i watch it?” Then watch Battle Royale and you’ll get an idea of Tatsuya’s acting skills. Kenichi was already a part of Death Note. He was the voice actor of the shinigami Jealous. He is very well known for the weird roles he chooses to act. He did a great job as L also. The whole point is, don’t start watching the movies if you’re gonna start watching them by saying: “I definetly won’t like it…” If you’re gonna say that, then you shouldn’t watch it at all. But it will be your loss.
As for Zac Effron and the probability of him playing Light, i’m so disgusted of the idea that i can’t even comment on it anymore. That’s pretty much it.
Nice funny wallpaper and props for the creator.

This is the correct blog for anybody who needs to search out out about this topic. You realize a lot its almost hard to argue with you (not that I truly would need…HaHa). You definitely put a brand new spin on a subject thats been written about for years. Nice stuff, just nice!
