Rosette Christopher & Chrono
Yo minna! You know, i’m starting to get scared here. I mean lots of people end up on my site searching information like “how did enma ai die?” or “enma ai’s death” and some other ways of inquiring the details of Enma Ai’s death. Ok, i got used to that considering the fact that there are at least 5 searches a day with that.
However, the same thing started a couple of days ago regarding Chrono Crusade. Some people want to know “Did Chrono really die?” Well this time i can give a straight answer: yes, both Chrono and Rosette really died. However, there’s a rumour that there might be a second season. I mean, thinking about it, there just has to be a second season: Aion is still alive. And then, Chrono was a demon. The contract with Rosette had ended because her lifespan came to end due to Chrono using his powers. So basically Chrono went back to hell, right? But isn’t Aion there? Something must happen… There just has to be a second season.

Well, to be honest I don’t believe there will be a second season since the manga is a long time finished. However, the manga ending is different from the anime (remember I told you there were 3 possible endings in the manga?). But then, who’s going to continue the storyline for it?

I’ve read on some blogs and forums that there certainly will be a second season and i reaaaally want to believe them. However, i know someone who can give me a true and informed answer. Actually, i was afraid to ask him till now because he might ruin my dreams, but at least i’ll know for sure. But still… the ending was a huge disappointment for me and i’m pretty sure i’m not the only one thinking that way and i’m not just saying that because of the deaths of Chrono and Rosette, but also because Aion is still alive, the things with Joshua are not settled yet and there’s no conclusion for anything. I mean, everything leads me to believe that there just has to be a second season. I’ll ask the guy i was talking about and wait for an answer even tho i’m pretty scared.
But for now, i still have no clue. 
Teehee! Well apparently many people want to know how Enma Ai died so i guess i’m going to finish watching the series only to find out if there are any details regarding this matter.
i do agree at iruvienne. this anime had been made on 2004 and 7 years had already passed. if the maker of chrno crusade had wanted a part 2, he should have made another one. let’s go back to ending… i had read the manga and i too was first: happy and joyful, and second: very curious and disappointed. i was happy (actually i had read the epilogue and cried like a baby about it.)because at the end when rosette got her last attack, she fell from the chair. she clutched herself and said: “an attack… get a hold of yourself! rosette! you knew that it would be like this… i’m OK… everything’s fine…” then she began to tremble and hugged herself. “everything is no fine…it’s time already! this attack!but i still have letters to write! some one… joshua… az… someone help me…! chrono… CHRONO HASN’T RETURNED YET! i don’t want… to die alone! come back! chrono!… chrono…” at that she reached the table and reapeatedthat she did’nt want to die. then suddenly the door of te church opened and then came in a bandaged chrono. he stepped closer to her and she ran open arms. at the end they were seen hugging. contented and satisfied. at that point i think rosette died (happily) but chrono didn’t. when chrno arrived at the church to see rosette is saw the watch broken.. i had also remembered that when az was narrating about her diary in the manga, the clock appeared along with the picture of them and the gun of rosette. i wondered if chrno had entrusted his clock to her and rosettes gun and he went away… tha my point of view though..
