J-news Friday!

February 26, 2010 Leave a comment

Yo minna! Guess what? I figured what new section to bring here on Fridays. As the title says, it’s gonna be “J-news Friday!”. I’ll bring here the most interesting pieces of news i can find and i will simply put down the link to where i found them so that you can read the whole articles. No point in me writing them all over again. I’ll most probably write just a few thoughts of my own regarding the respective subjects.

  • So with that being said, let me tell you a little something about the first piece of news you definetly must know about. “Yankee-kun to Megane-chan Drama Announced”.  Hiroki Narimiya (Gokusen, NANA) and Riisa Naka (The Girl Who Leapt Through Time)  will be the main characters. I can’t wait for it to come out!!! Read the whole article here.

  • Yuichi Nakamura of D-BOYS will be acting in a new dorama. Masayuki Ishikawa’s manga “Moyashimon” will be turned into this dorama this summer. A good excuse to post some more pics of Yuichi. Read the whole article here.

  • Yamapi is going to star in a new live-action film of boxing manga “Ashita no Joe.” Can you believe that? Can you imagine Yamapi in that role? I honestly can’t, which is why i can’t wait for it to come out. Read the whole article here.

  • Speaking of Yamapi, did you see the preview for NewS’ upcoming single “Sakura Girl” ? Check the whole article out, including viewing the preview here.

  • Now let’s get into the manga world a little. Did you hear about the accusations brought to Publisher Radical Comics? They’re being accused that their manga series “Incarnate” copies imagery from Tito Kubo’s manga series “Bleach”. I can’t even find the words to comment on this one… Read the whole article here.

  • And a bit of anime news. Hetalia fan disk to include unstreaned episode! Ok i would probably comment something about this if i had actually watched anything of Hetalia, but since i haven’t… i’ll let you read the whole article here.

Okeeeeyyy. That’s enough for today’s first edition of “J-news Friday!”. Hope you found these things as useful as i do.  Have a great weekend!

    Thursday’s Cosplay!

    February 25, 2010 1 comment

Yo minna! So i’m still in the middle of the whole organizing process, so i figured i should also bring something new. Well, i hereby present the first ever “Thursday’s Cosplay!” section. This section will contain both amazing cosplays and also funny cosplay attempts. That’s because you should always remember this:

Okeeeey. So for this forst edition of “Thursday’s Cosplay”, let’s take a look at these amazing Death Note cosplays!

Actually i’ve seen many good Misa Misa cosplays, but these are really awesome! However, Light cosplays are really bad as funny as that sounds… Still, take a look at these following photos:

Okey folks, now let me introduce to you the most ingenious Death Note cosplay ever! I guess every cosplayer in the world would have no problems actually winning a cosplay contest wearing this outfit:

    Teehee! Best ever!

Well this was the first “Thursday’s Cosplay!” and i’m pretty sure this section is a keeper. What anime fan doesn’t like cosplays?

    You gotta love Mizushima Hiro

    February 24, 2010 5 comments

Yo minna! So i decided to make Wednesdays the “You gotta love…” days. I just hope that i’ll keep on to this kind of… schedule. I’m not very good at that.

Anywayz, moving on. For this week’s “You gotta love…” section, we have Mizushima Hiro. Seriously, who doesn’t love Mizushima Hiro? He’s definetly one of Japan’s hottest actors and models. He’s married to singer Ayaka, but that doesn’t keep us from dreaming i suppose…

Did you know that his real name is Tomohiro Saito? And did you know he learned English at an international school in Switzerland?

I highly recommend the following doramas having him as part of the cast members: Hana Kimi, Tokyo Dogs, Mei-chan no Shitsuji, Kamen Rider Kabuto (haven’t seen this one yet, but i sure will because the story is more than interesting).

I had a really hard time finding a good wallpaper of Hiro, but then… i got stuck with three of them. That’s when things got complicated because i didn’t know which one to choose… Well here’s my pick nevertheless! Cool Mizushima Hiro wallpaper:

    You gotta love Mizushima Hiro!

    Tuesday’s Wallpaper: Vampire Knight group

    February 23, 2010 1 comment

Yo minna! You know, i figured i am way too messy so i decided to start organizing my blog. Wow! I’ve had this blog since the end of 2008 and i thought about organizing it just now! Well it’s never too late, right?

Anywayz, I hate Tuesdays, so i decided to make Tuesdays the days i post “serious high-quality wallpapers”. I’m still in the process of organizing everything, so don’t ask me about the rest of the days. All i know is that weekends will be left just like they have been up untill now. There won’t be any posts on weekends.

Well, we’ll take everything step by step. So for today’s “Tuesday’s Wallpaper” we’ve got a cool Vampire Knight group wallaper. I’ve said it many times, i don’t like group wallpapers, but this one was just too beautiful. Well it also has a lot to do with the fact that VK’s characters are so beautifully drawn! So anywayz, here’s Tuesday’s Wallpaper!

You can not say these characters are not beautiful!

I keep reading the manga by the way! And i suggest you do the same if you haven’t already.

    Who is Zaraki Kenpachi?

    February 22, 2010 4 comments

Yo minna! Now the title seems weird, i know, but imagine this: someone did use these keywords and got to my blog. At first i was like “WTF??” , i mean… of all anime characters ever… Well anywayz, after that i thought i should at least answer that because everyone should know who Zaraki is. :D

According to Wikipedia, Zaraki Kenpachi is a fictional character and supporting anti-hero in the anime and manga series Bleach. He is the captain of the 11th Division within the Gotei 13. His lieutenant is Yachiru Kusajishi.

According to Chira, “Zaraki” means “grow late” or “night watch” or “tree”; “Kenpachi” means “sword”, “eight”. Zaraki is a name of the 80 th district (the worst), so it would make sense why the name indicates one has to stay watch all night. Zaraki named himself “Kenpachi” because all the strongest men were named Kenpachi. Zaraki also came from the north.

According to me, Zaraki Kenpachi is the best anime character ever. Bleach without Zaraki is no Bleach at all.

For a full Zaraki Kenpachi bio, you must check Bleach Wiki.

    Zaraki Kenpachi quotes:

“Heh, sanity? Sorry, i don’t recall ever having anything like that.”

“Fight to the death, eh? Great! If i kill you, become a ghost and come back to kill me!”

“I have no interest in fighting someone who already has one foot in their grave.”

Now here’s one of the best Zaraki Kenpachi wallpapers i could find.

A big thank you to whoever did it!
