Thursday’s Cosplay!

Yo minna! As you all KAT-TUN and NewS and Kamenashi Kazuya and Tegoshi Yuya and J-dorama and Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge fans know very well, the last episode of this dorama was released a few days ago. As far as i’m concerned, i still haven’t watched it because i hate waiting for new episodes every week, so i let them pile up. Not to mention the fact that i avoid getting too depressed once it’s over.

So anywayz, i was thinking that… some Yamanade cosplays would be appropriate. However, i was kinda scared to search because… well let’s be honest, who would make a better Kyohei Takano than Kamenashi Kazuya?… Well i was actually pretty pleased to find a couple of cosplays that i really liked. I thought i’d find more Sunako cosplays because i think she’d be pretty easy to cosplay, but… i found 2 Sunakos that i liked:

I say they made pretty good Sunakos, right? Now… for the part that i was nervous about, some Sunako and Kyohei cosplays.

I really really really like the last one! I do like all of them, but this last one is just perfect! They managed to create the same atmosphere the actual story was supposed to. And they did that from a friggin’ pic! Anywayz, congrats to whoever took the photo and to the cosplayers! *bows*

100th anniversary of Akira Kurosawa

Yo minna! This day and this post is to remember the great director, producer, script writer  and editor named Akira Kurosawa. He is considered to be one of the most important filmmakers in Japan and his name is also among the greatest names in the universal cinematic history.

His first movie “Sugata Sanshiro”  was released in 1943 and his last one, “Madadayo” was released exactly 50 years later.

In commemoration of the 100th anniversary of Kurosawa’s birth, the AK100 Project was created. The AK100 Project aims to “expose young people who are the representatives of the next generation, and all people everywhere, to the light and spirit of Akira Kurosawa and the wonderful world he created.”

Today, 23rd of March 2010, Google published a drawing of Kurosawa next to a camera, on their Google search homepage. The logo shows Akira Kurosawa’s 100th birthday, and is a huge honor to his memory, as thousands of people will look at Kurosawa’s picture, when they access Google’s search engine.

Yo minna! Yep, my holiday is over, so i’m back with my postings. However, i came to realise that i’m no good with scheduled posts… And besides, i don’t have enough days in a week to post a subject a day. It’s impossible! Oh and also, it’s difficult for me not to post something when i’m very excited about it. I have to share! It’s just like today. I accidentally found an amazing Ulquiorra wallpaper. Have to post it!

Maybe it is also because i love this character, but you gotta admit it’s a great wallpaper nevertheless!

Rant

Yo minna! Well i took some time off from the “blog-work”, but it wasn’t because i wanted to. A lot of things happened and you wouldn’t believe me if i told you what. Even i still can’t believe …

Anywayz, i know today was supposed to be J-news Friday! but let’s just say this is my last day of holiday and i’ll just talk about random stuff.

First things first: ever since i got a Twitter account, i can’t seem to find time for anything! I can’t seem to manage my free time anymore. It’s like i actually don’t have any. But i do like Twitter and i like “fangirling” over there. Oh! My account – http://twitter.com/AnderaYoko . I know it’s pretty stupid as my latest tweets are on the sidebar, but still…

Ok so anywayz, while i was still in the process of getting aquainted with Twitter, i also got a Tumblr account for my “fangirling thing”. My Tumblr account is – http://andera-yoko.tumblr.com/ . I’ve had this account for several days and i have about 1200 pics posted… Most of them are with KAT-TUN members, but there are also pics with Arashi members, Oguri Shun, Mizushima Hiro, Ikuta Toma, Jiro Wang and so on….

Speaking of KAT-TUN and Twitter, all you people reading this and have a Twitter account (if you don’t, make one just for this; then you can give it up if you don’t want to use it anymore he he!), i want to inform you of a little project that KAT-TUN fans are giving a try to. KAT-TUN is celebrating 4 years since their debut on 22nd of March. So all you gotta do is get on your Twitter and use #realface when twitting.

Oooookey. That’s it. I’m gonna enjoy my last day of holiday! Beautiful day outside!

Tuesday’s Wallpaper: AKame!!

Yo minna! So yesterday i didnt have a chance to rant, but i’ll make it up to you today. There’s no way you don’t love the KAT-TUN guys, right?
