Yo minna! Wait a sec, i need a smoke for this one. Yoshaaa! All set, here we go!

No, no, no! Don’t run anywhere. Rukia will definetly protect us. So what have you been up to lately? Even tho i’m in the middle of my wedding preparations and my mom has a broken leg (so i have to do all the chores around the house) i still found a little time for some j-doramas and some mangas (well i read these at work; don’t tell my boss tho) and i’ve been keeping up with Bleach and Naruto. I finally saw Crows Zero and i loved it of course. You name one Oguri Shun movie or dorama that is not cool and i’ll tell you that you’re crazy. That actor can pull off any type of character.

Not to mention Takayuki Yamada who was absolutely great! If you haven’t seen it, you should do that right now. Actually you just click here and go see it. You can find the second part of the movie on the same site.

A few days ago i felt like watching Midori no Hibi again. I remembered how i laughed when i first watched it. Guess what? It was the same this time. I’ll have to say this once again: Midori no Hibi is the funniest anime i’ve ever seen.

Also, believe it or not, i haven’t seen The Ring (yes, the movie) until last week or so. I was curious to see what was so scary about it, so… i gave it a try. It was kinda… hmm… Well i guess Sasuke and Kabuto will never watch it again.

Teehee! Well that’s pretty much it. I still have to write lots of j-dorama reviews, i just hope i’ll find the time for them. You know, it’s pretty difficult to write a j-dorama review. I mean… from my point of view and the way i write them. Actually it shouldn’t be so difficult because i just write them randomly, i don’t follow a pattern or anything, but it’s still… hmm…

Oh! Akanishi Jin’s US concerts have started and fangirls have already started posting pics and videos on youtube and Tumblr. I can’t watch them. Makes me feel funny. I want him back with KAT-TUN because KAT-TUN doesn’t feel complete without Jin. That’s just my opinion.

Well anywayz, that’s all for today’s rant. It really sucks that i don’t find the time to post every day, but i’ll try my best to post as often as i can. Ganbarimasu ne?~

Midori no Hibi manga

Yo minna! Remember the Midori no Hibi review ? Back then, after finishing watching the anime, i felt really great! I laughed a lot, in fact there were so few moments when i didn’t that i had the impression that i laughed from the begining to the end of it! Well anywayz, at that time i didn’t know i would also start reading the manga.

Aaaaaand i never thought i’d enjoy reading the manga just as much as i enjoyed watching the anime; also i never thought i’d laugh just as much reading the manga as i did while watching the anime.  Well, in other words, Midori no Hibi manga is just as great as Midori no Hibi anime.

The storyline is pretty much the same as in the anime. Actually there were only a few different things, but barely noticeable. What i really loved about the Midori no Hibi manga and anime is that the characters have the exact same features, i mean the graphic arts is just the same… Ok i don’t think i make much sense right now, but if you watch the anime and read the manga, you’ll get my point. :D

I’ve selected a few scans that i really like from the manga. Hope you like them just as much as i did. Aaaand i’m hoping that i can get you to read the manga as well. I’m telling you, it is worth it. If you saw the anime, then you know the storyline and i bet you liked it.  Well i guarantee you’ll love the manga just as much!

Wanna read it now? Great idea! Click here! Let me know what you think once you finish!

Midori no Hibi review

November 3, 2009 11 comments

Yo minna! I know was going to stick with Jigoku Shoujo till the end, but, as usual, i just couldn’t. Not my fault this time! I liked Matt’s reviews of Midori no Hibi’s each episode so much that i just had to see it. Besides, it only had 13 episodes, so i finished it in one day. I have to say, Midori no Hibi is definetly the funniest anime i’ve ever seen. You wanna laugh? You watch Midori no Hibi (Midori Days).

post-382287-1140940510What’s it about: Sawamura Seiji is a renowned delinquent in his highschool. He’s always fighting, his grades are low, students fear him, but still, some seem to idolize him. That’s because he tends to protect weak people from different bullies. Midori Kasugano is a rich, but shy girl from a different highschool than Seiji. However, his reputation is well known in that area. Midori loves him, but doesn’t have the courage to talk to him, so she keeps watching him from afar. Seiji, being a regular teenager, he desperatly wants a girlfriend, but his reputation doesn’t help, most students being afraid of him. So he concludes that he’ll end up alone with only his right hand as companion. (Teehee!) That’s when he wakes up in the morning with a miniature Midori attached to his right arm instead of his hand. Being so close to Seiji, Midori confesses her feelings, but the boy doesn’t seem to take her words seriously as he regards her only as a replacement for his right hand.

They go through a lot of funny experiences that Midori writes in a journal every night about while Seiji is sleeping. However, realising that she could never be more to Seiji than just a right hand, Midori finally starts wishing to get back in her real body. As soon as that happens, the boy realises how much he got attached to her.

This is definetly one anime you must see if you want a good laugh. Here’s a cool wallpaper i’ve found of Midori no Hibi.

Only 13 episodes, you can watch it in one day and you’ll feel great afterwards!
