Yo minna! The time has come for another round of J-news Friday! I actually like this section as well as the cosplay one… I still have to find a day for reviews tho. I’ll figure something out.
Anywayz, let’s get started!
- Last week i wrote about the accusations towards Nick Simmons and Publisher Radical Comics. They’re being accused that thei manga series “Incarnate” copies imagery from Tito Kubo’s “Bleach”. Well the public finally has an official answer from 21 year old Nick Simmons. Read the statement and the whole article here.
- OMG OMG OMG!!! You gotta see this! Hello Kitty Nike shoes?? They’re awesome! There are lots of models, many colors and me has to have them! You can see some models and read the whole article here.
- The Japanese celebrated Hinamatsuri (Girl’s Day) on March 3rd. Platforms covered with a red carpet are used to display a set of ornamental dolls (hina-ningyo) representing the Emperor, Empress, attendants and musicians in traditional court dress of the Heian period. Actually, my Japanese pen-pal told me about this so i will just recommend you read more about Hinamatsuri here and here.
- Tamaki Hiroshi revealing an unknown side of his in an iterview on “alive”. Read the interview and the whole article here.
- Arashi’s new single “Troublemaker” has been released on March 3rd. It is used as the theme song for the j-dorama Tokujo Kabachi where Sakuari Sho is starring. The single is highly evaluated by all members so this may be one of the best pop songs of Arashi ever! Read the whole article here.
- A full trailer has been released for the upcoming movie “A Crowd of Three” starring Matsuda Shota! You can watch the trailer and read the whole article here.
Okeeeey that’s all folks! Hope you enjoyed this week’s news. Another week is gone… Have a great weekend everyone!
